Huntington Reservoir

Craig and I had this great idea to take the kids into the mountains, and have a fire and roast marshmallow and cook hotdogs, and catch some fish. A few years back, we had camped here, and had a wonderful time. We were really excited to go back.

However, as we started up the mountain, it seemed to be getting colder and colder...not really unusual, but a little concerning.  By the time we reached the summit, it was snowing. These pictures don't give you a real feel for how cold it was, but Ally's face does...

That is FRESH snow on the ground. It actually snowed a few times in the hour or so that we were there.

Little trooper, all bundled up.

Ally and Logan anxiously awaiting the fire...which was hard to get started, because all of the wood was wet...

Olivia- totally unaffected by the cold, having the time of her life :)

Down at the lake.

What a hottie :) He makes my heart go pitter-patter!

Ally finally decided that maybe she was going to have a fun time, even if it was cold, and she did.

I have a picture of her doing the same thing, in the same place, 4 years earlier...

This is where she caught her first fish :)

Darling sisters...so small...
